This Privacy Policy explains how Pulse Intelligence Inc. ("Pulse", "we", "our") collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you use our platform, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). We are committed to complying with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (Law 25 / Bill 64).
1. Who We Are
Pulse Intelligence Inc. is a technology company incorporated in Québec, Canada. Our registered address is in Montréal, Québec. For any privacy-related questions, you can reach us at privacy@pulseintelligence.app.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identity data: Your name and email address, provided when you register or submit an inquiry.
- Geolocation data: Your real-time or approximate geographic location, collected through your device when you use the Pulse mobile application. Location access requires your explicit permission and can be revoked at any time through your device settings.
- Search preferences: Property type, price range, neighborhoods, and other search criteria you configure within the Service.
- Usage data: Technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and interaction logs, collected to ensure proper functioning of the Service.
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as financial records, government-issued ID numbers, or health data.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:
- To deliver real-time property opportunity alerts based on your location and search preferences.
- To calculate and display opportunity scores relevant to properties near you.
- To send push notifications when a high-intent opportunity is detected.
- To improve, personalize, and maintain the Service.
- To communicate with you regarding your account, pilot program, or support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing Your Information
We may share your personal information in the following circumstances:
- With real estate partners and brokers: When a high-intent opportunity is detected and you engage with an alert, relevant information (such as your general location zone and search preferences) may be shared with the licensed broker or agency operating through the Pulse platform in your market. This sharing is necessary to connect you with the opportunity and is disclosed at the time of alert.
- With service providers: We work with third-party providers (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, notification delivery) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements. These providers are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
- As required by law: We may disclose information if required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory authority.
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
5. Geolocation — Special Notice
The core functionality of Pulse relies on real-time geolocation. By enabling location permissions, you allow us to detect when you are near relevant properties and trigger contextual alerts. Specifically:
- Location data is processed to determine proximity to active listings.
- We apply a minimum score threshold and a 12-hour cooldown between alerts to limit unnecessary data processing.
- Location data is not stored permanently and is not used for advertising profiling.
- You can withdraw location consent at any time through your device settings. Doing so will disable proximity-based alerts but will not affect your account.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law. In general:
- Account and preference data is retained while your account is active and for up to 12 months after deletion.
- Real-time geolocation data is processed in the moment and is not stored beyond what is needed to generate an alert.
- You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
- Request deletion of your personal information (right to be forgotten, as applicable).
- Data portability: Receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used format (applicable under Law 25 as of September 2023).
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) at www.priv.gc.ca, or with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI) at www.cai.gouv.qc.ca.

You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. We do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals at this time, but we do not engage in cross-site tracking.
10. Children's Privacy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect.
